Google Ads benchmarks in twenty markets
Each figure is in that market's own currency, because converting everything to one currency hides exactly the differences that matter.

Reading the table
Cheap clicks are not the same as cheap customers
A low CPM can cost you more
Markets with cheap inventory usually have lower purchasing power and thinner margins to match. Volume is easy there; profit is the hard part.
An expensive market can pay better
High CPM markets tend to carry higher order values and better close rates, so cost per sale can come out ahead of a cheaper market on the same budget.
The minimum is not a suggestion
Below the floor in that last column, the platform never gathers enough conversions to learn. You are not saving money, you are buying noise.

Reading the numbers
How to read Google Ads cost benchmarks without fooling yourself
Every figure on the pages below is a range, not a price. That is deliberate. Anyone quoting you a single number for what Google Ads cost has either not asked what you sell or is guessing, because the spread between the cheapest and dearest click in the same market and the same category is routinely three or four times.
What decides where you land is mostly not the ad account. It is relevance, competition, timing and measurement. A creative people actually stop for earns cheaper impressions. A tightly themed ad group earns cheaper clicks than a sprawling one bidding higher. A campaign planned around the local selling season pays a fraction of what the same campaign pays during the peak.
The second trap is comparing cost per lead across markets as though a lead means the same thing everywhere. It does not. A cheap lead that never answers the phone costs more than an expensive one that books. This is why every market page below pairs the cost figures with what actually drives them locally, rather than presenting a number in isolation.
The third is confusing media cost with total cost. Media is paid straight to Meta and Google on your own card. My management sits separately as a flat monthly retainer, agreed in advance, never a percentage of spend. Scaling your budget never quietly raises my invoice, which is the point.
Use these pages to work out roughly what a customer will cost you before you commit anything. Then check that number against your margin or close rate. If it does not clear, the fix is the offer or the pricing, not the ad account, and I would rather tell you that on a free call than three months into a retainer.
