Refund and cancellation policy
When a refund applies, when it does not, how notice works, and exactly how to ask for one without it turning into a negotiation.

Monthly retainers
Retainers are billed in advance for the month ahead and are non-refundable once work on that month has begun. The reason is straightforward: the work is time, and once it has been spent on your account it cannot be recovered and given to someone else.
Cancelling is simple. Give 30 days' written notice and the current month completes as normal, with the following month not billed. There is no exit fee, no clawback, and no attempt to talk you out of it beyond one honest conversation about why.
Ad account audits
Audits are paid upfront and refundable in full if you cancel before I have started. Once I have begun going through your accounts, the fee is non-refundable, because at that point the work exists and the document is being written whether you read it or not.
Fixed-price projects
Things like a tracking implementation are usually billed part upfront, part on completion. The upfront portion is refundable before work starts and non-refundable afterwards. If a project stalls because of something on your side, such as access or approvals, the work already done remains chargeable.
Advertising spend
This one matters
Your media budget goes directly to Meta and Google on your own payment method. I never hold it and I cannot refund it. Once spent on a platform, that money is gone and only that platform can decide otherwise. This is precisely why I never take custody of client ad spend — it keeps the money visible to you and the responsibility where it belongs.
Performance is not a ground for refund
Advertising results are never guaranteed, and campaigns underperforming is not in itself a reason for a refund. Results depend on your product, price, margin, offer, website, market, competitors and platform decisions. What you are paying for is the work, the expertise and the honest reporting, all of which get delivered whether a given month goes well or badly. If a month goes badly you will hear it from me first, with a plan attached.
When I will refund
- Nothing was delivered. If I have taken payment and not done the work, you get your money back without argument.
- I cannot deliver. If illness, capacity or circumstance means I cannot do what was agreed, unused fees are returned pro rata.
- A billing error. Duplicate charges, wrong amounts, charges after cancellation — corrected immediately.
- You cancelled before work started. Full refund, no conditions.
How to request one
Email digitalraghawofficial@gmail.com with the invoice reference and what happened. I will reply within 5 working days. Approved refunds go back the way they came, usually within 10 working days, though banks and payment processors set their own pace.
If we disagree
Talk to me first. Almost everything of this kind is a misunderstanding about scope, and almost all of it gets sorted in one conversation. Chargebacks filed without contacting me are the slow, expensive route to the same place.
Have this reviewed
This document is written in good faith but not by a lawyer, and consumer protection rules vary a great deal by country. Have a qualified professional check it against your own jurisdiction before relying on it.
Rather clarify the terms first?
Ask before you commit to anything. I would far rather answer it now than argue about it in month three.
